Boot Camp Information

The Blue Ridge Rollergirls put on a series of boot camps every year for those who are working towards trying out for the team in November. During these series of boot camps, the BRRG training committee will demonstrate and work with skaters on the skills that they will be tested on during tryouts.

The charge for boot camps is $5 to cover the cost of the space. Skaters are encouraged to bring their own gear including helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards. We will have some loaner gear but supply is limited. You will ABSOLUTELY need to bring your own mouth guard. These are available at your local sporting goods store.

Start your new years off right, getting fit with the Blue Ridge Rollergirls! Join us for a roller derby inspired, fun fitness class which will incorporate cardio, strength training, and agility. Get ready to booty block your way to better fitness and hang out with some of the hardest working gals on the flat track, skaters from Asheville’s own Blue Ridge Roller Girls. The class will be entirely off skates and all levels are welcome. Mouth guards are not required, helmets are optional (just kidding, we promise, no hip checks).

This is also a fundraiser for our league to help keep us training and traveling and bringing you the awesome derby you love to see!

Ccost for nonmembers: $10 for a single class or $30 for a series of 4.

Anytime Fitness Members: $6 single or $18 for the series.

Battle of the bands: Tickets available HERE!

After our terrific success last time, the Blue Ridge Rollergirls have decided on 7 awesome bands for our second annual Battle of the Bands in February. Come help us choose who will play our halftime show!
